BOOK REVIEW: Look Closer by David Ellis

Look Closer by David Ellis 🙶Simon and Vicky couldn't  seem  more normal: a wealthy Chicago couple, he a respected law professor, she an advocate for domestic violence victims. A stable, if unexciting marriage. But one thing's for sure ... absolutely nothing is what it seems. The pair are far from normal, and one of them just may be a killer. When the body of a beautiful socialite is found hanging in a mansion in a nearby suburb, Simon and Vicky's secrets begin to unravel. A secret whirlwind affair. A twenty-million-dollar trust fund about to come due. A decades-long grudge and obsession with revenge. These are just a few of the lies that make up the complex web...and they will have devastating consequences. And while both Vicky and Simon are liars, just who exactly is conning who?🙷 My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟/5 My first David Ellis and will definitely not be last. This is one of those books I truly feel lived up to the hype.  What I loved about it: 1. The drama - domestic thr...

Plug and Socket Types around the World: Why You Need a Universal Travel Adapter

Are you planning an international trip? Exciting! But before you go, it’s important to remember that not all countries use the same electrical outlet plugs. In fact, there are currently 15 types of domestic electrical outlet plugs in use worldwide, each of which has been assigned a letter by the US Department of Commerce International Trade Administration (ITA), starting with A and moving through the alphabet. Different regions of the world use different plug shapes and sizes, so you’ll want to choose the correct one for the country you’re visiting. For example, most of Europe uses one type, but Italy and Switzerland each use something different. Don’t worry though, there are many options available to help you stay connected and charged up while you travel. First things first, always remember to bring a Universal Travel Adapter. This is a must-have item for any international traveler. A Universal Travel A...

Ditch the Bookshelves, Embrace the Future: My Love Affair with the Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation

Forget everything you thought about e-readers. The Kindle Paperwhite 11th Generation is more than just a digital book reader; it's a portal to literary worlds without the weight of physical limitations . As someone who used to scoff at the idea of e-readers, I'm here to tell you, I was wrong . From skeptic to superfan: I never considered myself a bookworm, but friends kept recommending titles I couldn't fit on my already overflowing shelves. Phone reading strained my eyes, and library trips weren't always convenient. Then, a birthday gift and some research changed everything. The Paperwhite became my constant companion, and I haven't looked back. Why I love it: Bigger is better: The expansive 6.8" display feels luxurious, like holding a real book, without the bulk. Plus, thinner bezels create a more immersive reading experience. Eyes never get tired: The 300 ppi glare-free display mimics the look and feel of paper, even in bright sunlight. And the adjustab...
