First of all, let me just say that this is my first time reading a book by Hoover, and I am blown away by her writing skills. It's like she's got some kind of magical power over words. The way she crafts her sentences is just so captivating that you can't help but be drawn into the story. I'll be honest, I started reading Verity just to try out something new from an author I don't know yet, but once I started reading, I couldn't stop. I mean, seriously, I was turning pages faster than a cheetah chasing its prey. The plot and the events in the book are mind-blowing. It made me question myself about the world we live in.
