Psychological Thriller

The Cabin in the Woods by Sarah Alderson

πŸ™ΆIn a cabin in a wood,
A woman by the window stood.

Glancing out, she thought she heard
Footsteps, whistling, something stirred.

Hiding here, she fears the night,
For what’s done in the dark will come to light.

She must run fast to escape her lie

Or she’ll be the next to die…πŸ™·

My Rating: 🌟🌟🌟/5

This was just okay for me. I love rags to riches stories so it held my attention for a while. It was interesting until it's not.

What I liked:
1. It was a quick read.
2. It was suspenseful.

What I disliked:

-Spoiler Alert!-

1. Some parts were just unbelievable. Case in point: They staged an elaborate crime scene in the garage with Ryan fully awake, and was in the kitchen just seconds earlier. There were just so many implausible moments like this it was hard to stay invested in the story.
2. It was never explained why or how was Daisy in Thailand.
3. Everything was wrapped up too neatly for my liking.
4. Cheesy ending.

I know I'm in the minority here as everybody seems to love this book. If you happen to like claustrophobic thrillers, check out more titles below.

The email informed me that Coinbase would be discontinuing all services to my account and that I had until September 25th, 2023, to withdraw my funds. Confused and frustrated, I discovered that many other users were facing the same situation. It became clear that Coinbase was suspending or closing accounts for members from other countries, seemingly prioritizing its US-based clients. This sudden decision left me with no choice but to rely on Coinbase Wallet, but my trust in the platform had significantly dwindled. --- Have you ever received an email that instantly sent your heart racing and your mind into a frenzy? Well, that's exactly what happened to me when I opened my inbox and saw a message from Coinbase with the subject line: "An Important Message Regarding Your Coinbase Account." Plug and Socket Types around the World: Why You Need a Universal Travel Adapter

Are you planning an international trip? Exciting! But before you go, it’s important to remember that not all countries use the same electrical outlet plugs. In fact, there are currently 15 types of domestic electrical outlet plugs in use worldwide, each of which has been assigned a letter by the US Department of Commerce International Trade Administration (ITA), starting with A and moving through the alphabet. These letters are completely arbitrary and don’t actually mandate anything. Different regions of the world use different plug shapes and sizes, so you’ll want to choose the correct one for the country you’re visiting. For example, most of Europe uses one type, but Italy and Switzerland each use something different. Don’t worry though, there are many options available to help you stay connected and charged up while you travel. First things first, always remember to bring a Universal Travel Adapter. This is a must-have item for any international traveler. A Universal Travel Adapt
